INTRODUCTION

Effective 1 August 2025, all applications for the Director General’s (DG) Approval under Section 60K of the Employment Act 1955 can be submitted directly through the FWe Approval module in the FWCMS portal. Employers no longer need to log in to ePPAx separately — all processes are now integrated into a single, seamless, efficient digital platform.

This feature is available for the following sub-sectors:

1. Goldsmith
2. Textile
3. Service subsectors under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), covering:
   i.Spa, Wellness and Massage Centres
   ii.Hotels
   iii.Island Resorts
   iv.Golf Courses
   v.Theme Parks
   
   

This process will gradually be extended to all other approved sectors.
